The building is registered as a protected monument, and was built in the middle of the 19th century.

The project preserves the substance of the building, and provides for the creation of 9 apartments, and a commercial space on the ground floor.

The roof will be completely insulated, and 4 skylights will be added to provide natural light in the apartments created under the roof.

Due to the currently almost non-existent insulation, the annex will be rebuilt and insulated according to current standards.
